Hearty Sausage and Squash Soup
Use any type of sausage to make this Crock-pot Squash and Sausage Soup. A filling soup packed with hearty ingredients!
- 3 packs Ring Bologna We use a combination of venison and pork - you can use any kind of meat/sausage
- 1 whole Butternut Squash peeled and diced
- 1 Onion diced
- 5 - 7 Garlic Cloves chopped
- 8 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Rinsed Barley
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1/4 cup Cream
- Handful Chopped Spinach
Cook your sausage (we use ring bologna) and then slice into forkable pieces
Add sausage, butternut squash, onion, and garlic to a pan and cook until softened
Add everything from the pan into a crock pot along with chicken broth, barley, paprika, salt, and pepper
Let cook on high for 40-50 minutes and then stir in cream and spinach
