Sour Cream Orange Muffins
These Orange Sour Cream Muffins pack on the bright citrus flavor of oranges and are one of my favorite things to bake!

Orange Muffins
- 1 3/4 Cup flour
- 2/3 Cup white sugar
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 Tsp salt
- 1/2 Cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- 1 Cup sour cream
- 1 egg
- 1/4 Cup orange juice (use freshly squeezed for the best flavor)
- 2 Tbsp Orange Zest
Zesty Orange Glaze
- 1 1/2 Cup Confectioners sugar
- 1/4 Cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 Tbsp orange zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees f
Mix dry muffin ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt) in one large bowl
Grab a separate bowl and mix the wet ingredients (butter, sour cream, egg, orange juice, and orange zest)
Pour wet ingredients over dry ingredients and stir until moist
Put batter into a greased/sprayed muffin pan (we like to use muffin liners)
Bake about 15 - 18 minutes at 350 degrees f until done (passes the toothpick test!)
Cool on a wire rack
Once cooled, pour glaze on the muffin tops (to make the glaze, simply mix the ingredients together until combined)
