Tallow & Honey Body Wash
A homemade body wash that nourishes like a lotion, cleanses like a dream, and is free from artificial ingredients!
Servings: 32 oz bottle
Equipment
- 2/3 cup Tallow melted
- 1/3 cup Jojoba Oil
- 1/3 cup Castor Oil
- 2/3 cup Raw Honey
- 2 cups Liquid Castile Soap
- 20 - 25 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
- 2/3 cup Distilled Water optional, for thinner consistency
Instructions
- Melt the tallow over low heat until fully liquid, then allow it to cool slightly
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted tallow, jojoba oil, castor oil, and honey until smooth
- Slowly stir in the castile soap, mixing gently to prevent excess bubbles
- Add the frankincense essential oil and mix well
- If a thinner consistency is desired, add distilled water and stir.
- Pour into a 32 oz pump or squeeze bottle and shake before each use
