Salad

large head lettuce
chopped
1
pound
bacon
cooked and crumbled (I always bake our bacon: single layer on a baking sheet, into a cold oven at 350° until crisp)

hard-boiled eggs
chopped

shredded cheddar cheese

corn chips
coarsely broken

small sweet onion
thinly sliced (optional)

cups cherry tomatoes

Dressing

mayonnaise

white sugar

cup
brown sugar

tablespoons
vinegar

cup
milk
Instructions
In a small bowl, stir together the dressing ingredients until smooth.
In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, bacon, eggs, cheese, and any optional additions.
Right before serving, add the dressing and toss gently to coat. Fold in the corn chips last so they keep their crunch.
Serve immediately.
