Tips for Making These Homemade Fruit Roll-Ups

  • If your fruit isn’t blending well: Either add 1/2 cup of water to the blender or take your mixture and heat it over the stove before blending again
  • Taste your fruit beforehand to determine how much sweetener you want
  • Use a silicone baking mat – for the few recipes you may need this for it truly is worth it, using parchment paper or aluminum foil for these fruit bars becomes sticky and just doesn’t cut it

FAQ’s

How should I store my fruit rolls?

Once they have completely cooled, cut them and roll them up with parchment paper. Tie with a string for extra traveling support.

Can I use frozen fruit?

Yes, once you’ve thawed your frozen fruit you can blend it up. Because of the excess liquid, you will need to adjust the sweetener and lemon juice measurements.

Is it cheaper to make my own fruit leather?

Yes it absolutely is, when you make fruit leather in your own kitchen all you are paying for is the price of the fruit!
