Chipper Bar Recipe


  • 2 Cup Quick Oats (these oats cook quicker than old-fashioned oats, rolled oats, etc.)
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Butter (melted)
  • 1/3 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 14oz Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips


  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • In a 9×13″ pan greased with cooking spray combine butter oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • Reserve 1.5 cups of this crumble mixture to use on top of the bars.
  • Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of the pan.
  • In a small bowl stir peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk. Pour evenly over the base layer in the pan. Add reserved crumble to the top, add chocolate chips/ m&ms and press down with hand.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Once cooled cut into desired sizes (we opt for a granola bar form).
