Our humble, handmade gift shop has something for everyone on your list! You don’t want to miss it!
I love being able to continually share my home creations with you as the seasons change! Heading into winter on our farm means a lot of things for our family. It’s the start of our “winding down” as we prepare ourselves, our animals, and our garden for the incoming frigid Minnesota weather and also a time to hunker down and let my creativity flow to the indoor parts of our life!
With all of our handmade projects, I have transformed our garage into our winter shop and the spot to hold our winter wreath-making classes (info below). From now until December 15th you can stop by! Friday’s and Saturday’s from 10-4 and Sundays from 12-4. Look for the Winter Shop signs along Highway 14 and 25 in Lewiston, Minnesota!
We are mobile, too! You can often find me stationed at craft/maker fairs and farmers’ markets with our products throughout Minnesota. This month was no exception, I packed up the car and took in the last of the fall colors as I drove over to Rochester. I had the joy of joining in on the @rochfarmmkt textile market and watching our products – especially our cyanotype – fly into your hands!
Inspired to decorate with a handmade item this year? Join us to make your own holiday wreath with winter greens that are sustainably sourced and hand made right here in our shop. This workshop will include a wreath, ribbon, and all the jazz you want to add to it: berries, dogwood, sparkly items, brass bells, and more!
Price: $60
When: 2-4pm
We have had such a great time holding these classes, there are still 2 dates left! Sign up for your spot here: Winter Wreath Makers Class
Every year we work to make the most of what nature gives us! Enjoy the fresh, hand-picked greenery right from our farm!
These past few years I have dove into the art of cyanotype – it’s a process that involves printing and light exposure to create unique patterns. This can be applied to many different items, from clothing to our newest addition of cyanotype greeting cards. I compiled my own trials, errors, tips, and tricks on how to master this unique art into my online workbook that you can purchase. You can get translated versions in French, German, and Spanish as well!
