The fall equivalent of a leaving a bundle of hand cut flowers on the porch

I’m unsure if this is a Midwest-born tradition or if it’s just a tangible example of the friendliness that lives between our small towns over here but boo baskets are a cute fall tradition that let’s your neighbors and friends know you are thinking of them.
A spontaneous chain of gifts that act as a simple way of saying I-want-you-to-know-I-care-about-you in a gift basket full of fall treats and a few items from the garden.
They were always gifted with a sheet of tags, ensuring the tradition didn’t stop on your porch.
The idea is to be anonymous – a gift given to make a neighbor smile, without a face attached to it.
So yes, this means dropping off the gift at their front door and scurrying back to the car (the kids job – trust me, they’ll love it! The drop off is the best part of the fun)
This basket of seasonal goodies can come right from your own home and garden – maybe consider what puts a smile on your face this time of year and send it forward.
And what happens if you were the one to get booed first? You pass it on, continuing the chain of surprises
I’ve made four different designs – six on each page – that you can print, cut, and hang on your gift basket. And don’t forget to gift them a sheet of tags so they can continue the gifting cycle!

Here you’ll find the printable tags along with my natural product labels, ebooks, diy plans, and more
You aren’t just sending gifts – you are sending kindness, a moment of cheerfulness, and a seasonal greeting to families you might not know really need it. This basket of treats is all about taking care of those around you at a time of year when we start to retreat indoors.
Letting them know someone cares.
Someone is thinking about them.
And someone wants them to have a happy Fall.
